He Is Reluctant to Talk About Our Future! Does This Mean He Won't Commit? Learn the Truth Now

The future is a topic that most men would evade - and with a good reason. The future means a different thing with women - it could mean marriage, obtaining a mortgage, having kids, and so forth. This could spell a lot of things that could curtail the freedom of a man. So if your man won't talk about your future as a couple, does this mean he won't ever commit?

He might feel that he's not yet prepared.

He thinks that he's not ready to become a husband, a long-term boyfriend, or even a father! The idea of failing at any of these roles just scares the hell out of him so he'd rather not discuss it with the woman that he loves.

He loves being a bachelor.

A man who's comfortable with being a bachelor for a long time won't even bother discussing the future. What is there to discuss when he's okay with your current status?

He doesn't want to spoil the surprise.

Sometimes, a man is already planning to propose to a woman and so he'll want to keep away from the topic of commitment or future. He wants to make the proposal a wonderful surprise for you so don't expect him to discuss the future just yet.

He hasn't totally made up his mind about you.

He might not be discussing the future with you because he simply wants to take his time. Maybe he's not 100-percent sure of you yet, hence, he won't confirm anything with you for as long as he's on that gray area of uncertainty.

The topic irks him because he's still concentrating on his career.

He might feel that anything or anyone that would hamper his career growth just has to be ignored or set aside at the moment. Just let him have his sweet time for when he's truly ready, he'll be the one to open up about your future as a couple.

He has inhibitions about the future.

The future is one of the great unknown. Although he may love you deeply, a man who is afraid of what the future may bring would rather keep mum about it.

He doesn't want the feeling of being pressured.

After all, he's a man so he should say things when he wants to say them. If the future or commitment is something that you'd want to discuss with him, you should gently ask him about it. Try to nag or criticize and he'll retreat inside his shell.
