Two Main Ingredients - Why Relationships Fail

Everyone has had a relationship at least once in their life. That "love" feeling is so wonderful until that day comes when you break apart. After the illusion of what you thought a relationship should be, the wall comes up to protect yourself. Love and relationships are challenging that is for sure. People become fearful of commitment, afraid of being rejected, and the games begin. In all actuality, it's the fear that keep us in problematic relationships.

The two main ingredients, other than fear, is lack of honesty and communication;however, each go hand in hand. The relationship dynamics has changed, this is true, but lack of honesty along with lack of communication has always been a problem. The idea is if you are honest with someone, then you will hurt their feelings. Sorry to say, but that is the biggest cop out. There is obviously some hidden agenda; whereas, most people don't want to be alone so they settle for what they have.

The only relationship that is most important is the relationship with yourself. Everything comes from "self" so if you are dishonest with yourself, than you will continue to attract dishonest people.

If everyone understood that one simple truth than life would be so different. The real truth here is that we are all responsible for our lives. We create our own outcomes. All we have to do is acknowledge it and know that if someone doesn't like you it doesn't matter. Not everyone accepts you for you. All you do is realize it's nothing personal and move on.

So many people deceive others because they can't be honest with themselves. Other people can't admit to it so they hide and ignore you and hope you will go away. The problem with that scenario is that everyone has lessons to learn. If you ignore what you need to do, it won't go away unless you handle it. All that happens is that same issue keeps popping up with new people who come into your life because challenges are lessons to be learned.

Because I am so honest, I have found that I scare people away. It's kind of amusing to me as it shows how many people hide from their truths. What is so hard about being honest and communicating your feelings? All honesty does is bring it back to you. Keeping someone around just in case the other person you are cheating with might not work out, only keeps the real person meant for you away. All you have to do is speak your truth and allow the Universe to send you a person who is right for you. Release relationships that are not working, because another door will not open until you close the first one.

If you want love in your life and a relationship that lasts, than take time for it to grow, and always be honest with your feelings. Communicate your desires instead of assuming what you think the other person is meaning. Lack of communication and being dishonest are the main ingredients of relationship disaster.

When something isn't working isn't it time for a change? Change your thoughts which change your life. Do something different and give it a try. You have nothing to lose and so much more to gain. Does that make sense?
